Whiskey River's Favorite Recipe for: Standard Steak Marinade

  • 1/3 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1/3 cup of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons of dried basil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of parsley (fresh or dried)
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic


  1. Our steaks do not need to be tenderized BUT if you prefer the marinade to penetrate deeper to provide a stronger flavor, we recommend you tenderize it with one of the all stainless steel multi blade spring-bounce tenderizers 
  2. Gently massage the marinade into the meat to ensure it thoroughly coats the steaks and allow them to marinate for a minimum of 4 hours but we prefer to let them marinate for 6-8 hours.
  3. We recommend to only cook to a level of medium or medium rare to maintain the maximum nutritional content and flavor.
  4. Serve and savor!
