Whiskey River's favorite Jalapeño Butter Burger


  • 1 lb Whiskey River's Signature Ground Beef Blend
  • 1/2 Stick of Chilled Butter (small cut cubed)
  • 1 Freshly diced and De-Seeded Jalapeno Pepper 
  • Your favorite BBQ/Burger/Rub Seasoning 
  • 4 Thick Cut Slices of your Favorite Cheese


Mix the butter, jalapeno and 1 Tbsp Seasoning in the burger until properly combined but make sure not to overmix.

Prepare your pellet smoker or griddle at mid range heat. (These two cooking choices are preferred vs a standard grill to eliminate flames while cooking)

Mix the ground beef, jalapenos, butter and 1 Tbsp seasoning and form four - 1/4 lb patties. Add additional seasoning to the patties per your preference.

Lightly butter your cooking surface if using a griddle. Place the patties on the griddle/pellet smoker and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, finishing to your desired temperature. Add your favorite cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
