Whiskey River's Signature Recipe for: Santa Maria Tri Tip Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 2 - 2.5 lbs tri-tip roast
  • teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar

Directions:

  1. Gently massage the marinade into the meat to ensure it thoroughly coats the steaks and allow them to marinate refrigerated for a minimum of 8 hours but do not exceed 24 hours.
